History

I purchased this domain on December 8th, 2004, after wishing to expand my lone fan site into a larger collective of sites. I wanted to have a personal site as well as fan sites for different topics, and so I quickly used this site for all those purposes. Above all, I wanted this domain to be a place where people could browse at their leisure and perhaps learn a few new things, especially about college life and pursuing higher education.

I maintained the site in this way for 3 years, expanding my fan sites into various gaming topics and TV shows, and enjoyed a fairly large visitor base to my network. I also expanded into a personal site as well as a large portal where I could link to all the sites I owned, as well as all the sites I was a part of online.

However, after I graduated from college in the spring of 2007 and went back to school to start on my Master’s degree in the fall, I found that I did not have time to update my websites as I once did in undergrad. The added workload of trying to keep up 7 or 8 different sites was just too much, and I stopped updating a number of them as a result.

Finally, in the spring of 2008, I completely redid my website, purging most of the old content in favor of a more professional design, suitable for use in my Technology Portfolio requirement for my Master’s degree. What you see before you is the result of that time and effort, and I am quite proud of the new evolution that this site has undergone.
